The Guy Who Owns the Whorehouses on 'Cathouse' Won a Primary in Nevada
Source - Pimp Dennis Hof, the owner of half a dozen legal brothels in Nevada and star of the HBO adult reality series “Cathouse,” won a Republican primary for the state Legislature on Tuesday, ousting a three-term lawmaker.
Hof defeated hospital executive James Oscarson. He’ll face Democrat Lesia Romanov in November and will be the favored candidate in the Republican-leaning Assembly district.
Hof celebrated his win at a party in Pahrump with Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss at his side.
“It’s all because Donald Trump was the Christopher Columbus for me,” Hof told the Associated Press in a phone call. “He found the way and I jumped on it.”
Hof, who wrote a book titled “The Art of the Pimp,” has dubbed himself “The Trump of Pahrump,” and held a rally with longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone.
Some people look at the world as it is and ask “Why?” I prefer to look at the world as it could be, with pimps governing us, and ask “Why not?”
Frankly, I think the Founding Fathers would have wanted Dennis Hof to get elected. America is a shining city on a hill. A beacon to the world. And who better to lift his lamp beside the golden door but a guy who’s built an empire off teenage runaways giving homely, social misfits orgasms for money? That is representative democracy in its purest form.
I’ve never had the pleasure of being in Pahrump, Nevada. But if it’s anything like the rest of the state, it’s a barren wasteland. A sun-bleached, inhospitable hellscape, like a Road Runner cartoon puked up a Georgia O’Keefe painting. Where the houses have wheels and the trucks are up on blocks. A place that was deemed perfect for atomic research because even a radioactive explosion hotter than the sun couldn’t make it worse. And a place like that is going to attract the kind of people who dream of a frontier life of absolute freedom from laws of any kind. So it’s only natural that they’d want to be led by a pimp.
And since we’re always hearing that the country needs more people to get involved in our governance, Hof deserves credit for stepping up. If you remember Cathouse, he had a pretty nice life for himself. Yes, you could practically detect the smell of cheap perfume, disinfectant, butthole and sadness coming through the TV screen. But he was king of his own DNA-soaked castle. Seemed to be making a ton of money. And every employee loved him. And he got all the sex an unattractive middle aged man could want. So it takes a special kind of devotion to your nation to join the political fray. Very much like his hero Donald J. Trump. America is getting the leaders we deserve.
Best of luck to Dennis Hof in the general election. Make Whorehouses Great Again.
